Veteran Nollywood actress, Sidikat Odukanwi, popularly known as Iyabo Oko, has been confirmed alive a few hours after the rumours of her death circulated online.
A daughter of the actress, Bisi Aisha, had on Wednesday informed the public that her mother has passed on.
“My mum is gone. Rest well mummy. May ur soul Rest In Peace mummy”.
In a follow-up, she posted a video on her social media to debunk the death of her mother.
She said in the video; “Good morning everyone, this is Iyabo Oko’s daughter. Iyabo Oko is still alive o, my mummy is still alive o.

“I was the one that posted it yesterday when my senior brother called me that she was confirmed dead and later after three hours, she came back to life.
“So we thank God for that. We thank God. You can see my eyes, I’ve been crying since yesterday but we thank God. She’s back to life so she is very much alive. Iyabo Oko is alive so we need your prayers. Thank you, Thank you everyone.”
She also said in a post; “Wonderful being, she moved her hand after being confirmed dead three hours ago. God, we will forever praise your holy name.”
