Notorious bandit, Alhaji Auta, killed in Zamfara
A notorious bandit leader popularly known as Alhaji Auta has reportedly been killed in Zamfara by operatives of the Nigerian Airforce.
This was according to a Twitter user and security expert, Yusuf Anka.
According to Anka, “One of the most senior and notorious Bandits of Zamfara Alhaji Auta has been killed with scores of his men in the early hours of today by the Nigerian Airforce”.
Meanwhile, there is no yet official statement from the Nigerian Airforce or any concerned authority to corroborate the report at the time of publication.
Zamfara is one of the states terrorised by bandits in the northern part of the control.
Few days ago, NewsWireNGR reported that bandits killed three persons during an attack on Gada community in Bungudu Local Government Area of the State.
During the invasion of the community, the armed men killed the District Head, Umaru Bawan-Allah, and his two sons.
