Nigerian rapper, Onome Onokohwomo, popularly known as Yung6ix, has slammed Ghanaian rapper, Shatta Wale, for talking down on Nigerian artists.

“For the record f**k @shattawalegh. You will not attach the name Nigeria to a worthless agenda and not be addressed. Never seen two countries coexist in love like Nigeria and Ghana. You are fighting a lost cause.”

Yung6ix was reacting to Shatta Wale’s rant on Sunday, where the rapper threw shades on Nigerian artistes after selling out a Ghanaian stadium.

“They said I won’t be able to fill my own stadiums, I don’t need any Nigerian artiste to sell out Ghana’s stadium, f**k Nigerian artistes,” the rapper had said.

“Your artistes see Ghana like heaven. Anytime I say something about Nigeria it hits them hard. You guys sing about love but you don’t have it. All na scam,” the rapper tweeted.

He added, “Nobody is hating nobody here but the way you Naija people like comparing your artistes to us is absurd.”

Meanwhile, Some Nigerians have started sharing screenshots of a tweet from Ghanaian rapper, Shatta Wale, where he was expressing his excitement at getting a Nigerian passport and work permit.

In this tweet, which is still on his timeline, dated December 10, 2019, Shatta Wale said, “Thank God I just got my naija passport with work permit. Proud naija boy.”(sic) Shatta Wale had at his concert in the Accra Sports Stadium used curse words on Nigerians and Nigerian musicians, because he was able to fill the stadium with his fans.

He said, “They said I won’t be able to fill my own stadiums, I don’t need any Nigerian artiste to sell out Ghana’s stadium, f**k Nigerian artistes.” Reactions have been trailing Shatta Wale’s comments and subsequent rants.
