Wizkid pre-orders N1m suya ahead arrival in Lagos
Nigeria singer and Grammy Award winner, Ayo Balogun, stage name “Wizkid” has pre-ordered suya worth N1 million ahead his arrival in the commercial hub, Lagos.
The “Essence” singer who noted he has missed suya a lot took to his Insta story to say; “Abeg once I land Lagos, I want 1million Naira suya! Thank you.”
Disclosing his sellers, the singer added; “Isa and Mohammed! Una oga dey come back! Make una do normal!”
Wizkid has been bagging different awards this year without forgetting his instant sold-out event as 02 Arena.
Earlier in the week, Wizkid bagged three awards at the African Muzik Magazine Awards held on Sunday.
At this year’s award themed, ‘Flavors of Africa’, Wizkid won, Artist Of The Year, Song Of the Year (Essence ft Tems and Justin Bieber) and the Crossing Boundaries With Music categories.
Reacting to the wins, his manager, Jada Pollock tweeted, “Wizkid won 3 awards at this year #afrimma2021 Awards…”
“Essence” by Wizkid and Tems was also listed by Time Magazine’s top Best Songs in 2021 – also on the list are Taylor Swift, DojaCat, El Alfa, Olivia Rodrigo and Farruko.
