“It’s been a challenging couple of days” – Peter of P-Square is not doing well and here’s what you need to know

Peter Okoye, twin brother to Paul Okoye of P-Square is ill and as a result the group that recently reunited are postponing the concert earlier scheduled for the 18th of December.

P-Square is a music duo consisting of the twin brothers, Peter Okoye and Paul Okoye. On Tuesday, Peter took to his instagram account to inform his fans and followers that “It’s been a challenging couple of days trying to power through immense pain, fever and general body weakness.”

His statement continued in parts, “We were very excited about giving you an amazing show on the 18th, Unfortunately, my body has taken quite a beating with several intense rehearsals back to back and studio that it just couldn’t take it any more and I have had to give in to Dr’s orders to get some rest, build back my strength to get to optimum health”. 

He said the first thing he did when he discovered he was ill was to take a Covid-19 test, “and thankfully my tests came out *negative* for coVID”. he wrote.  

He however, thanks his twin brother, Paul, “my brother @iamkingrudy, my family and team for holding it down while I get through this” but assured fans that long for the duo to put up another show since their reconciliation that the show has been rescheulf for Christmas Day.

He noted that, “The good news is, we will make it up to you and give you a truly amazing show on Christmas Day – Saturday, December 25th !”. 

“If you’re a ticket holder, the wonderful team @livespotx will send you an email with updates and options”, his statement added.

He then assured that, “The show will go on and we can’t wait to see you there. Look out for electrifying performances from P-Square, some of your faves and more”.

The p-square brothers, produced and release their albums through Square Records. In December 2011, they signed a record deal with Akon‘s Konvict Muzik label.

In May 2012, P-Square signed a record distribution deal with Universal Music Group until their split 25 September 2017, but during their birthday, 2021, they announced a reconciliation and return back to performing as a unit.

His brother also shared a post assuring fans of their readiness while sending a get well soon message to his twin.
