‘World’s richest man’ wants to quit job to become influencer

Elon Reeve Musk, the founder of SpaceX and Chief Executive Officer/Product Architect of Tesla has said he is considering becoming an influencer.

In a tweet on Friday, the world’s richest person with an estimated worth of $263.3 billion said; “thinking of quitting my jobs & becoming an influencer full-time wdyt [what do you think]”.

The post has however generated lots of sarcastic reactions from Twitter users.

The tech entrepreneur had on Thursday sold 934,091 Tesla shares, according to financial filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission published late Thursday. The shares are worth $963.2 million.

His tweets are reputed for influencing the stock and crypto market.

A Twitter account by the name of @ShibaInuHodler in October asked Musk how much SHIB coin he was holding. Musk’s single-word reply? “None.” That sent SHIB down 20% in the immediate timeframe after Musk’s tweet.
