Over 17 students returning from school killed by truck chased by LASMA

More than seventeen students have been reportedly killed by a white delivery truck allegedly chased by officials of Lagos State Traffic Management Agency (LASTMA).

According to reports, the victims who were students of Grammar school were returning from school and were crushed at the Bus Stop, along Ogba-Ojodu Berger Road.

A commercial motorcyclist who witnessed the incident said; “I have never witnessed such a terrible scene in my life. I saw about 15 pupils lying lifeless on the floor. The incident occurred around 2 pm”.

Also speaking, a student identified as Cynthia said; “the sight is something else, the kids were crushed, the accident happened immediately the school opened their school gate after the close of school. I am not sure about the number, as at when I left they said 17 children were confirmed dead.”
