Nigerian singers, Ayo ‘Wizkid’ Balogun and Temilade ‘Tems’ Openiyi, got the crowd buzzing at the O2 Arena in London as they performed their hit song, ‘Essence’ but not without this uncomfortable moment that has got fans talking.

One of the comments reads, “The rubbing up against Tems was very classless when you consider that she seems very particular about her space and body”.

Another twitter user wrote, “It’s apparent she wasn’t there for that, he shouldn’t have done it at all, no matter how carried away he might have felt/been or not. Embarrassing and unprofessional to watch from here, talk more of the person at the receiving end.”

The three day made in Lagos concert sold out the O2 arena in just 12 minutes, but not without the backlash over the singers actions seen by millions of viewers across the globe. For this fan, Tems does not only deserve an apology from Wizkid, the fans also deserve an apology over his conduct.

“Tems deserves a public apology and her fans deserve a public apology too. We are shaking right now. I lost my appetite after seeing that video”.

For the 2022 Grammys award, Wizkid was nominated in the ‘Best Global Music Performance’ category for “Essence”.

During Wizkid’s show on Sunday, he surprised fans by bringing out another American star, Chris Brown, to perform in the UK for the first time in a decade.

Fans also breached security at the O2 Arena on Sunday night, as videos posted to social media showed a stream of people dodging security barriers and charging their way in to watch him perform.
