Police Recruitment: Pregnant women, bowlegged people, others barred [How to apply]

The Nigerian Police Force (NPF) on Monday announced it is recruiting but would not allow applications from certain individuals.
Individuals barred by the police from applying include “pregnant women, people with amputation on any part of the body, bow legs, and bent knees which cannot be straightened when standing at attention”.
Also barred are applicants “with the impediment of speech, knocked knees, and defective eyesight/squint eyes”.
Eligibility
To be considered for the 2021 police recruitment, applicants must possess the following:
- National Identification Number, functional email address, and valid phone number
- A minimum of 5 credits in not more than 2 sittings in WASSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB with credit passes in English and Mathematics.
- Scanned copy of their original O’Level result(s) to be uploaded on the portal.
- Aged between 17-25 years.
- Medically, physically, and psychologically fit and must not be less than 1.67m tall for males and 1.64m tall for females.

When will the application for 2021 police recruitment end?
The online application portal for the 2021 police recruitment opens starting from Monday, November 29, 2021 and would be closed at the end of Monday, January 10, 2021.
When will I get feedback on the application for police?
Upon completion of the application, successful applicants would be invited for physical screening from January 10 to January 24, 2021.
