Davido ‘might give’ away all N184m donations for ‘hit song’
Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido on Wednesday is considering giving away the money he was gifted after he started a challenge asking fans and colleagues alike “If u know I’ve given you a hit song .. send me money …. una know una selves oo”
The musician got a donation of 7m under 10 minutes after the tweet.
His bank, according to him reached out lesser than 24 hours after his post and as he got about 60 million donations.
He posted, “Wema wanna have a meeting !!!!”.
In about 48 hours, his account (now restricted by his Bank) has been credited with more than N184 million.
In a turnaround, Davido who had earlier said his aim was N100 million to clear his Rolls Royce from the port on Friday said he “might give it all away”.
