British High Commission gives Nigerians update on visa applications
The British High Commission in Abuja has issued a statement on Friday regarding its visitor visa applications for Nigerians.
The High Commission in the statement noted that, “due to extremely high demand, standard UK visitor visas are taking significantly longer than usual to be processed”.

Meanwhile, the nation had in September promised to offer 10,500 visas to counter its growing worker crisis in a U-turn on post-Brexit immigration policy.
The short-term visas, which was scheduled to commence October until late December, come as ministers grapple with a huge shortfall in drivers and some other key workers that has hit fuel supplies and additional industries.
