Olori Damilola, the estranged wife of the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi has issued a public apology to the monarch and the royal family.
In a statement posted on her Instagram account on Sunday, the queen said she had apologized to the entire Adeyemi family, the Oyo State House of Assembly.
Damilola, a junior wife, had before now accused the Royal House at the time of neglecting her and her only child.
She said, she wanted the whole family to forgive her and that she was misguided.
“I want everyone to understand that it’s not just about me writing this thing, it’s about me and myself.
And I want to say that everything I have said wrong about the Palace, and that the King does not care for me and why I left the palace is completely false.
My friends encouraged me to do so, and it was not from my heart. “
Damilola added that her eyes were now open.
“I beg all the mothers of the world, plead with my husband”
He statement issued and seen below reads in parts,”All the money I have taken from you, I will return your money as soon as I return to my husband in Oyo.
“Only a wise person understands that there is no place like home. ” She wrote.
