The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Monday visited the headquarters of Kaduna State Urban Planning Development Agency (KASUPDA) and arrested the Director General.
The DG of KASUPDA, Malam Ismail Umaru Dikko, as gathered by NewsWireNGR had been served several invitations by the anti-graft but failed to honour any.
Prior to his appointment as the DG of KASUPDA, Dikko served as a special assistant to the state governor, Malam Nasir el-Rufai.
According to reports quoting eyewitnesses, the anti-graft visit caused some commotion as he was in a meeting with his staff when they arrived.
The source said the staff at KASUPDA had earlier tried to stop the EFCC from leaving with the DG and security at the gate had prevented the car from exiting.
However, the DG asked the security to open the gate.
