Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe has claimed that aside from the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), there are more than 30 other separatists groups in the South East.

Abaribe disclosed this during his interview on Channels TV.

The Senator representing Abia South claimed the people of the South-East have been grossly marginalised and unfairly treated by the All Progressives Congress (APC) government.

Abaribe was however asked if he was a supporter of IPOB, he subtly answered, “I am a supporter of the cries of our people against injustice…I stand with my people.
