Boko Haram members kill 24 ISWAP fighters in Borno

Boko Haram members have attacked their brother-terrorist group, the fighters of the Islamic State in West Africa (ISWAP) in Borno state.

According to reports, the Boko Haram faction led by one Commander Aliyu Ngulde exchanged fire with the ISWAP fighters led by one Abou Aseeya at Mandra and Gaba Mountains in the Gwoza axis on Friday.

Twenty-four ISWAP fighters lost their lives during the gun duel.

According to sources quoted by PRNigeria, the duel between the two terrorist organisations was a reprisal attack, fueled by an onslaught ISWAP elements had earlier launched at Boko Haram members in recent weeks.
