FG approves 14-day paternity leave for civil servants
The Federal Executive Council, FEC, on Wednesday approved a 14-day paternity leave for men working in the federal civil service.
This was disclosed by the Head of Civil Service of the Federation, Dr Folasade Yemi-Esan.
According to the HoS while addressing State House correspondents, the time would afford the men enough time to bond with their newborn baby or adopted one.
The leave according to Yemi-Esan will be approved when their wives are delivered of their new babies.
