Aggrieved Delta youths storm police station, burn six suspected bandits alive

Aggrieved youths of Isoko community in Delta state have stormed a police station in the area to lynch six arrested suspected bandits and burnt them alive.

According to a report by The Punch, the suspected bandits allegedly kidnapped and killed two people within the community.

Angered by the development, the members of the community vigilante group were said to have stormed the kidnappers’ hideout with weapons such as cutlasses and locally made guns.

The arrested bandits were handed over to the police according to a source, but the aggrieved youths mobilized to the police station and lynched the nabbed suspects, burning them alive.

Meanwhile, at the time of publication, the Delta state command image maker, DSP Bright Edafe, claimed he is unaware of the development.
