EFCC Chairman, Bawa, slumps while talking about man arrested in Ibadan

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Chairman, Abdulrasheed Bawa, on Thursday slumped during a programme at the Presidential Villa, Abuja while talking about the arrest of a man in Ibadan.

Bawa prior to the incident was narrating how the man was caught in Oyo state with 116 SIM cards.

He was giving his goodwill message at the National Identity Day celebration when he suddenly stopped speaking and later said; “Please, excuse me, I can’t continue”.

He was assisted to his seat by the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Dr Isa Ali Pantami and other senior officials at the event, but slumped on his seat and was rushed out of the Villa.
