The Department of State Service (DSS) has claimed that the case file of the suit filed by the associates of Sunday Adeyemo, a.k.a Sunday Igboho, has been stolen from one of its counsel who unknowingly boarded a vehicle occupied by “one chance” armed robbers.

One chance robbers operate by disguising as commercial vehicles after which they would rob passengers of their belongings and drop them off at any location that befits them.

According to the DSS counsel, Mr. I. Awo, his colleague unknowingly boarded a ‘one chance’ vehicle while the thieves snatched the case file along with other items.

He was arguing the security agency’s case that four of Igboho’s associates remain in its custody due to “some legal technicalities”.

Awo however prayed the court to adjourn further proceedings on the matter till a later date.

Although 12 associates of the Yoruba nation agitator were arrested, eight have been released while the DSS detained four- Amudat Habitat Babatunde, Abideen Shittu, Jamiu Noah Oyetunji and Bamidele Sunday.

DSS claimed they were deeply involved in Igboho’s alleged criminal activities and were “suspected to be stock piling arms to take over the South Western states in the country”.
