Whitemoney is a controversial name God gave me — BBNaija’s Housemate

Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Shine Ya Eye male housemate, Hazel Onou, a.k.a Whitemoney, has revealed that God gave him the nickname when he asked Him for “a name that would cause controversy”.

The fan favourite housemate revealed this to a female housemate, Queen, during a discussion in the kitchen.

According to Whitemoney, the nickname was revealed to him in a dream when he asked God for “a name that would stand out; a name that would cause controversy”.

Queen asked Whitemoney, “The first day I came, I asked you, ‘why is your name Whitemoney?’ So what is the motivation? Why are you called Whitemoney?”

The 29-year-old responded, “I didn’t give myself that name. It was given to me by God”.

“I prayed for it. I woke up with it in my mouth. Believe it or not, that’s the truth. If I tell people, they may not believe me. So I just say people gave me Whitemoney”.
