‘Help me beg Davido not to sack me’ – aide, Israel DMW tells Nigerians

Davido’s personal logistics manager, Afeare Israel, popularly known as Israel DMW, has appealed to Nigerians to help him beg his boss, David Adeleke against sacking him. 

Recall that Israel had defended Abba Kyari in the wake of his indictment in the Hushpuppi fraud case. 

The United States Department of Justice had said ongoing investigations showed that Hushpuppi allegedly bribed Kyari to arrest one Kelly Chibuzo Vincent, one of his accomplices in Nigeria. 

Reacting, Israel, in a post via his Instagram account, announced that he fully stands with Kyari regardless of whatever the accusations against him are. 

He noted that nobody is a saint, adding that Kyari is a clean cop. 

”I’m fully standing with Abba Kyari. The man is a clean cop. He has fully tried and is still trying in aspects of fighting wild armed robbers and kidnappers. 

”Kindly show me who’s a saint in this country,” he wrote. 

His comment gained him a suspension from his boss and ever since, his sack had been said to be imminent. 

His boss, Davido also said to his lawyer on social media that he only wanted to read about Israel DMW’s sack letter after suspending him. 

Taking steps to salvage his job, Israel took to his Instagram page on Monday to make an apology and said he has now realized the gravity of his action after Ubi Franklin called him personally on the matter. 

He wrote on social media, “You people should kindly help me to beg my oga, not to sack me, tru his personal Lawyer Jiggy, than adding to my current depression of pressurising him to sent me off. What would be you people’s gains, after 9 good years? I never knew of the gravity of my actions, until Ubi Franklin, personal called to tell me. Am very sorry sir”
