A sex-starved marriage is heading for destruction — Bishop Oyedepo

The General Overseer of the Living Faith Church popularly known as Winners Chapel, Bishop David Oyedepo, has advised married couples on the dangers of not having a good sex life.

In a post shared on his Ministries social media handles on Saturday evening, the pastor averred that a sex-starved marriage is heading for destruction.

He wrote: “A sex-starved marriage is heading for destruction; spouses should be available for each other, otherwise there will be a tendency to go where they would be accepted because the burning must be satisfied”.

Oyedepo recently made the spotlight after a Winners Pastor, identified as Peter Godwin, alleged that he was sacked by the church for not making enough money for the church.

The Pastor who revealed details of his sack in a viral video seen by NewsWireNGR said he was employed by the church on the 28th of August, 2020.

But on July 1, 2022, he and about 40 other pastors were invited by the state pastor and handed their sacked letters for the poor growth of their church.

The video generated reactions from Nigerians as some condemned Bishop David Oyedepo for using the church as a business venture, while others said the action was not in line with the gospel of Christ.

Reacting to the controversial situation, Oyedepo said the only criteria used to measure Pastors performances is the number of souls they have won for the church.

Thus, he said the Pastors were sacked for being “unfruitful”.
