Just In: Gunmen kidnap traditional ruler in Kaduna

Gunmen have abducted the Traditional Ruler of Jaba Chiefdom in the Jaba local government area of Kaduna state, Gyet Maude.

His brother, Anthony Maude said the 83 year old, was kidnapped on his farm located at Gitata community in Nasarawa State on Monday.

Police Public Relations Officer for the Kaduna state command, ASP Mohammed Jalige, said the command is in touch with Authorities in Nassarawa.

As at the time of filing this report, the kidnappers have not reached out to the family for ransom demands.
