The President of Christians Association of Nigeria (CAN), His Eminence, Dr Samson Olasupo Ayokunle, has implored the Imo state governor, Hope Uzodinma, to always “hear the voice of God” before taking “any step or action”, while describing him as “a miracle governor”.

The CAN president according to The Nation said this at a prayer rally held at Hero’s Square, Owerri.

Advising Uzodinma, Dr Ayokunle said; “Let me tell you this, before you take any step or action, hear the voice of God, and you don’t reject the voice of God.

“I say this because, you are a miracle governor. You’re coming as governor, was as a result of God’s decision. So, you are a miracle governor.

“That is why any step taken against you will be subdued because your coming as governor can only be possible by God.”

“For you to continue to stand, you have to stand strong. Calling on God always is a pathway to victory. Everybody must eschew violence. Everybody in Imo State should join hands together to say no to violence.”

The Supreme Court had in 2020 declared Senator Hope Uzodimma as governor of Imo State ruling Emeka Ihedioha was not the duly elected governor of the state.

The development followed a prophecy by the Priest of Adoration Ministry, Fr Ejike Mbaka, during his 2019 crossover ministration.

Fr Mbaka had said; “In Imo State, there is hope. Hope, hope, hope … hope in Imo State! “Imo people have suffered but God is raising a new hope that would be an agent of salvation for them.

“He’s coming with a new flag to restore the dignity of that noble land. A new leadership that will break barriers and there would be joy in the land of Imo.

“Lift your candles as I bless Hope Uzodinma; and I empower him to, spiritually take over. How, I do not know”.
