BREAKING: Gunmen kill Ortom’s senior security aide in Jos

Unidentified gunmen, on Tuesday killed a Senior Adviser to the Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom on Security, Christopher Dega in Jos, Plateau State Capital.

NewsWireNGR learnt from a report by TVC that Dega, a retired Assistant Inspector General was shot in the chest several times and bled to death.

He had a brilliant career in the Nigerian Police Force and was two times commissioner of Police (Borno and Edo States).

He hailed from Katsina Ala local government area in Benue state.

Mr. Dega is survived by his wife Kashimana, Son, Siblings, In-laws, Friends.
