Buhari visits cows in Daura

Nigerians have criticised President Muhammadu Buhari over a video that showed him inspecting cows while appearing mum over the kidnap of more than 300 students by terror group Boko Haram on Friday. 

The video posted by Sahara Reporters on Monday has a timestamp of December 12, 2020.

The Nigerians who took to their social media platforms said the action by the president showed that he valued the lives of his cows more than Nigerians while some question his mental capacity to be president. 

This criticism is off the back of the lax attitude Buhari has displayed since about 600 students (from initial reports) were abducted by gunmen from Kankara Secondary School in Katsina State. 

The kidnap happened the same day Buhari got into Katsina state. 

But the President is yet to visit the families of the victims or the school of the kidnapped students. Daura where the president resides is less than 3 hours to the Kankara where the kidnappings took place, yet the President sent delegates from Abuja to the place.
