Breaking: FCTA seals Jabi Lake Mall Abuja

The Federal Capital Territory Administration Sunday sealed the popular Jabi Lake Mall Indefinitely following concert attended by Nigerian singer Naira Marley.

The FCT Ministerial wrote in a tweet, 14th June 2020 and reads, “The FCT Ministerial Task Team on #COVID19 seals up Jabi Lake Mall indefinitely for violating Presidential Task Force’s directives on the ban on public gatherings as part of measures to contain the spread of the dreaded pandemic in the territory”.

Play Network Africa in partnership with order organisations had last night held a concert defying the social distancing order as stipulated by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).

The concert was initially announced as an open door, but fans trooped out of their vehicles to the stage to watch Naira Marley’s performance.
