Professor Ibrahim Gambari, may be the next Chief of Staff to the President

A former Minister of External Affairs, Professor Ibrahim Gambari, may be the next Chief of Staff to the President, Channels Television reports.

Although the Presidency has yet to formally confirm this, there are strong indications that the announcement will be made at the Federal Executive Council meeting on Wednesday, May 13, 2020.

When the appointment is eventually confirmed, Prof. Gambari will be replacing Mallam Abba Kyari was the Chief of Staff to President Buhari Before his demise which was announced on April 17 shortly after testing positive to CoronaVirus.

Prof. Gambari, a Nigerian scholar, diplomat and an indigene of Kwara State was appointed to replace the late Abba Kyari on Tuesday, May 12.
