PDP Says David Mark Is An Invaluable Asset Intensely Needed In Senate

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has described the re-election of former President of the Senate, Senator David Mark in Saturday’s Benue South rerun election as a confirmation of his popularity among his people.

Mark whose earlier election was nullified last year by the Court of Appeal was declared winner of the last Saturday’s rerun election by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

In a statement on Sunday by its National Publicity Secretary, Chief Olisa Metuh, PDP described the former Senate President as “a valuable ?statesman and national leader intensely needed in the Senate.”

According to the statement, Senator Mark’s victory was a demonstration of his popularity and that of PDP? not only in Benue State,but also in the North Central geo-political zone and other states of the federation.
