Tuface Finally Reacts To Intellectual Property Theft Blackface Accused Him Of

Nigerian singer Tuface has been in the background of the Nigerian music industry after spending more than 20 years in the industry.

Blackface had during the week accused Tuface of of intellectual property theft.

Speaking in an interview with Channels Television on Thursday, the Jos-born musician expressed his opinion on the state of their friendship.

“Apparently he doesn’t consider me a friend anymore, I wish him no ill will,” he said.

Expressing shock at the accusations, he said he initially thought the account was hacked.

“It’s unfortunate; I don’t know where it’s coming from; I’m trying to think of different reasons,” he said. “I thought his account was hacked but apparently, it wasn’t hacked.”

The award-winning artiste said the matter would be resolved.

“We will trash the whole matter, I have nothing but love and respect for him. It’s just so unfortunate that he will come at me like that.”

The singers belonged to defunct group Plantashun Boyz before they split in 2004.

Earlier this week, Ahmedu Augustine Obiabo, popularly known as Blackface, had accused Idibia of trying to kill his crew.

Idibia, who went solo in 2004, is widely recognized for his hit song, African Queen.

He is described as one of the most decorated and successful Afro pop artistes in Africa.
