Ansar-Ud-Deen Youth Association of Nigeria, a Yoruba Islamic organisation affiliated to the Ansar-Ud-Deen Islamic Organisation, has warned individuals and groups against efforts aimed at frustrating the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari.

The president of the group, Bashir Omipidan, gave the warning Thursday in Abuja while speaking about the annual conference of the association, coming up Friday at the Government Secondary School, GSS, Gwagwalada Abuja.

“ADYAN hereby remind those who are bent on not only frustrating our dear president, but equally ready to add to the sufferings of Nigerians that the citizenry have resolve to end their nefarious activities,” Mr. Omipidan said.

He also expressed shock at the revelations coming out of the ongoing trial of a former National Security Adviser and other persons, saying they show the kind of widespread corruption that bedevilled the immediate past administration.

“ADYAN notes with sadness shocking revelation of how our supposed leaders milked this country prior to the 2015 election, posterity and legacy will surely judge.

“In this light ADYAN stand very strongly behind the Federal Government’s Anti-Corruption posture in all sectors of our economy. We are convinced that the war against corruption will be convincingly won soon,” the group said.

The group also empathized with Nigerians over the ongoing fuel scarcity, praying that it will soon be a thing of the past, but urged the federal government to put more efforts to end the suffering of the masses.

The group said a special Jumaat service will be held to be followed by visitations to hospitals, orphanages and prisons among others as part of the annual conference.
