Police have confirmed that there were multiple attacks in Paris.. French police say Multiple acts of violence in and around Paris, several dead. At least 26 dead in violence around Paris, hostage-taking in theatre according to the Associated Press.

Police sources also confirmed that hostages were taken at Paris Bataclan concert hall.

Police have reported shootouts in at least two restaurants in Paris. At least two explosions have been heard near the Stade de France stadium, and French media is reporting of a hostage-taking in the capital.
