“My Services Are No Longer needed” – Governor Wike Media Aide’s Letter Reads As He Resigns

Opunabo Inko-Tariah, special adviser on media and publicity to Nyesom Wike, governor of Rivers state, has resigned.

Tariah tendered his resignation letter to the governor on Friday, saying “unfolding developments in the state indicated that his services were no longer needed”. “With unfolding developments, it is irrefutable that my services are no longer needed,’’ the letter read.

He thanked the governor for giving him the opportunity to serve him and the state. Tariah wished the governor God’s guidance and blessings “as I exit your government”.

The governor has not responded the Tariah`s resignation.
