Suspected Militants Have Abducted The Monarch Of Tombia In Bayelsa State

Unidentified gunmen have kidnapped the paramount ruler of the Tombia community, His Royal Highness, Christian Otobotekere.

The details of the incident which occurred early Thursday are still sketchy, as no ransom demand has been made by the abductors. –

About a fortnight ago, Mrs. Martha Binabo, wife of the former acting Governor of Bayelsa State, Nestor Binabo, was freed by her abductors after spending about a week as a hostage.
