No Chance That Nigeria Will Legalize Gay Unions – Presidency

Nigeria’s president, Muhammadu Buhari will not be pressured into legalizing homosexuality. The special adviser on media and publicity to President Buhari, Femi Adesina assuaged the fears of many Nigerians who felt that the newly strengthened relationship between USA and Nigeria may lead to the African giants being pressured into legalizing gay marriages just as the US recently did.

A tweet by Femi Adesina said it all. He wrote:

“The issue of gay marriage came up here yesterday. PMB was point blank. Sodomy is against the law in Nigeria, and abhorrent to our culture.”
