Final Battle Ahead Of March 28, Buhari Plans Zonal Rallies, Town Hall Meetings [Read GMB’s Itinerary]

The All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate retired General Muhammadu Buhari has planned 24 town hall meetings, zonal rallies and road shows across the country between March 10 and 22.

A statement by his campaign office Monday said this was part of the presidential candidate’s engagement ahead of the March 28 presidential elections.

The new schedule shows that Buhari and his running mate Professor Yemi Osinbajo as well as party leaders will be leading the engagements before the rescheduled polls.

Some of the stakeholders and interest groups to be engaged include religious leaders, traditional rulers, youths, business groups, entertainers, labour, civil society, students, women, socio-cultural organisations, among others.

The engagements will focus on inter-faith harmony, national security, media interaction, youth and women empowerment, business development, job creations and industrial harmony, among others.

The APC campaign will hold zonal rallies in Kaduna (Northwest), Yola (Northeast), Enugu (Southeast), Lagos (Southwest), Port Harcourt (South-south), and grand rally in Abuja on Tuesday 17, 2015.

Also the Buhari campaign is planning six road shows in Abuja, Akure, Ado Ekiti, Yola and Lagos.

The new schedule shows that the campaign will hold 12 town hall meetings and interactive sessions in Jalingo, Port Harcourt, Lagos, Sokoto, Jos, Yola, Ibadan, Abuja, Kogi and Kafanchan.

By tomorrow Buhari will attend a North West zonal rally and interfaith engagement in Kaduna while the Abuja grand rally holds on March 17.
