Sylva Released After DSS ‘Questionning’

Former Bayelsa State governor and a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Timipre Sylva, has been released after he was summoned before the Department of State Services (DSS) in Abuja, on Friday, for questioning.
Though, DSS Chief, Marilyn Ogar has not yet issued any official statement on the ‘supposed’ arrest; the DSS did not reveal the reason it invited the former Governor for questioning.

However, the former governor and APC senatorial candidate in Bayelsa state,  has since returned to his home in Abuja.

Earlier, yesterday, reports were all over social media, that the former Bayelsa State Governor was arrested.

Spokesman for Mr. Sylva, Dofie Ola, told reporters that the former governor, as a law abiding citizen, honoured a request by the DSS and was questioned.
There was no details about what the questioning was centred on.
