Di Maria Believes It’s Not Over For United

Manchester United winger, Angel Di Maria has revealed that the Red Devils need to work hard to regain their former reputation and he tips himself and his team mates to give Chelsea and Manchester City a run for their money.

Speaking to Canal+, here’s what he said:

“There are still a lot of points for the taking”.

“We must continue to work and fight. Sometimes it’s better to be in the hunter’s spot – there’s more motivation.

“Every year, the club gets bigger and changes its ambitions. We’re doing everything to be at the top, which is our position.

“A team like Manchester United has to be in the Champions League. We’re doing everything to put back the club in its place.”

Southampton beat United 1-0 at Old Trafford on Sunday and are currently 12 points behind Chelsea but the Argentine is not giving up.
