Breaking: Bomb Explosion Near Kano Market

A blast has been reported near the Kwari international textiles market in Kano, eyewitness in Kano say.

This is coming less than two weeks after the emir’s mosque in Kano was hit by suspected Boko Haram militants, leading to the deaths of over 100 people.

Though details of the blasts are still sketchy, it was gathered that the explosions occurred at Filin Fakin along Ibrahim Taiwo Way, a major intersection, leading to the popular Kartin Kwari Market in Kano.

The Police Public Relations Officer of the state command, Magaji Majiya, confirmed the blast says  four people are dead after two female suicide bombers blew themselves up near market; 7 more critically injured ..
