A group called the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Youth Network, South-West zone, has endorsed President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan for a second term in office.
Hon. Olumide Aliu, leader of the group who made the disclosure said “No President of Nigeria, either dead or alive has ever faced the kind of opposition, challenges President Jonathan is facing, coupled with the barrage of criticisms from the opposition camp, yet he keeps his head straight and concentrates on how to better the lots of the Nigerian populace.”
The group, which a few days ago conferred the Federal Road Maintenance Agency (FERMA) boss, Engr. Olajide Adeniji, honour of the Yoruba Man of the Year 2014, said it no longer wait to throw its support for President Jonathan to contest for second term to consolidate on his Transformation Agenda.
Olumide said with the achievements recorded by the president through implementation of his administration’s Transformation Agenda, it was certain that Nigeria was bound to reach the height if given another term of four years.
He promised that his group was set to mobilise support for the re-election of President Jonathan in states of the zone to ensure victory for him so that he could continue his good work for Nigeria.
Nigeria’s President, Jonathan is contesting for a re-election by February 14, 2015 on the platform of the ruling People’s Democratic Party, PDP where he’s been able to secure a slot as the sole candidate of the party….
