Southampton Sack Arsenal From League Cup

Southampton came from behind on Tuesday night to defeat the Gunners 2-1 in a Capital One Cup fixture and advance to the fourth round of the Capital one cup.

Chilean, Alexis Sanchez put Arsenal ahead with a wonderfully delivered free-kick but the Saints fought back brilliantly.

Southampton’s equalizer came from the penalty spot through Dusan Tadic after Tomas Rosicky  brought down Sadio Mane in the penalty box.

The winner came through right-back, Nathaniel Clyne who scored a screamer from 30 yards out just few minutes before the half time whistle.

Colombian goalkeeper, David Ospina made his debut for the Gunners on the night and made some important saves to keep the scoreline respectable.
