Pochettino Announces Kaboul As Tottenham Captain

Younes Kaboul has been named as captain of Tottenham FC ahead of Jan Vertonghen and Hugo Lloris. Since the announcement was made on Monday, many fans of the club have voiced their dissatisfaction with the appointment.

Spurs manager,  Mauricio Pochettino appointed the 28-year-old as his side’s new captain while he made Togolese, Emmanuel Adebayor and goalkeeper, Hugo Lloris vice captain.

The manager said he chose Kaboul because the player had exhibited all the qualities of a skipper and the character to lead the team.
