AC Milan has agreed a four-year deal for 32-year-old Real Madrid goalkeeper, Diego Lopez. The Spaniard who is currently out-of-favour at Real Madrid is expected to undergo medicals at Milan on Monday after which his signing will be finalized.
In recent years, he has battled fiercely with Iker Casillas for the number one goalkeeping spot at Real.
It is believed that he is joining Milan on a free transfer despite having an existing contract with Madrid as the Spanish club looks at forcing the highly rated Lopez out of the club.
The deal taking him to Milan will see him pocket about 2.5m Euros yearly.
