Buhari Assassination Attempt: Asari Dokubo Petitions DSS
The allegations linking the leader of the defunct Niger Delta People’s Voluntary Force (NDPVF), Alhaji Asari Dokubo to the assassination attempt on Nigeria’s former military head of state and All Progressives Congress (APC) leader, Muhammadu Buhari is not being taken lightly by the former militant.
The reports which Asari classifies false claimed he was the financier of the recent Kaduna bomb blast targeted at Buhari. He feels his life is in danger as a result of those reports and has gone ahead to petition the Director General of the Department of State Security, Nta Ekpenyong.
The petition which was signed by Dokubo’s Lawyer, Festus Keyamo urged the DSS to investigate the allegations leveled against his client as his life and that of his family is threatened by such.
