Liverpool’s Steven Gerrard, Luis Suarez & Daniel Sturridge Named PFA Players Of The Year

They are joined by Chelsea’s Eden Hazard, Manchester City’s Yaya Toure and Southampton’s Adam Lallana complete the list.
The most high profile absentee on the list is probably Chelsea’s John Terry, who had been tipped as a contender for the award after a fine season under Jose Mourinho.

Sturridge and Hazard are also nominated for the Young Player award along with Liverpool’s Raheem Sterling, Everton’s Ross Barkley, Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsey and Southampton’s Luke Shaw.

Last year both awards were won by Gareth Bale in his final season for Tottenham before joining Real Madrid.
