Former Newcastle United central midfielder, Yohan Cabaye has revealed he wants Chelsea’s highly-rated winger, Eden Hazard to join him at Paris Saint Germain. Bothe players will square up against each other in the Champions League quarter final fixtures.

Cabaye played with Hazard at Lille. At Newcastle, the French International played against the Belgian winger and has now confessed that the little winger is one of the best players he has ever played against.

He is also aware of Chelsea’s threat to his team’s hopes of progression in the Champions League with players of immense talent such as Hazard.

He spoke to PMU ahead of next week’s first leg quarter final fixture against the London Blues.

“Hazard is a player that I would like to PSG,”

“He would do so well in Paris and in the championship.

“He’s one of the best players I’ve played against. Eden Hazard is the Chelsea player. He will be the player that we will need to pay attention to; we will have to watch him.

“He can make the difference at any time; he can be dangerous with each acceleration. But then, the whole world knows that.

“And we will not focus solely on him, although we will have to be vigilant.”

He is however confident that Chelsea will also be aware of his side’s quality when they meet.

“It’s started to arrive little by little, in England in particular,” he mused.

“When Eden arrived at Chelsea and I at Newcastle, our team-mates didn’t know us.

“Now, Ligue 1 is everywhere. Thanks to Paris and Monaco, the matches are now exported [on television].”
