The Northern State Governors’ Forum will hold its meeting in Kaduna on February 17, the Chairman of the forum, Gov. Babangida Aliyu of Niger, has said.
Notice of the meeting is contained in a statement issued by Aliyu’s Chief Press Secretary, Mr Danladi Ndayebo, on Friday in Minna.
It listed security and the upcoming national dialogue as top issues to be discussed by the governors during the meeting.
He said the governors would also discuss the New Nigeria Development Company and the Sir Ahmadu Bello Memorial Foundation.
Also on the governor’s agenda, he added, were donations to families of security agents killed in the Ombatse crisis in Nasarawa State in 2013.
A delegation of four governors from the NSGF had visited Lafia, the Nasarawa State capital in 2013, where the forum pledged N100 million to the families of the late security personnel.
