Italian Serie A side, AS Roma has made it clear that they are not interested in selling midfielder, Miralem Pjanic. This is coming as reports have it that PSG Manager, Laurent Blanc has expressed an interest in the 23 years old player.
In a news conference on Friday, Blanc had made it clear he admired Pjanic but was quick to point out how difficult it would be to get him. He also confirmed Newcastle’s Yohan Cabaye as another target for the French side.
“They’re both interesting players, but first of all you need to negotiate,”
“If we do get a new midfielder this winter, then I would be very happy. If nobody arrives, I won’t be bothered or disappointed.”
Roma however seems not to be ready for any such discussion as their Tweet last evening (Friday) read: “no talks are underway regarding the exit of Miralem Pjanic. The player is not for sale.”
