A chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Sokoto state, Alhaji Anas Dannayaba, Sunday decried the crisis rocking the party in the state, saying it would be difficult for APC to win the 2015 governorship elections unless Governor Aliyu Wamakko reconciled with his predecessor Attahiru Bafarawa.
Speaking with THISDAY in Sokoto Sunday, Dannayaba maintained that the acrimony between the supporters of Wamakko and Bafarawa would affect the fortunes of the party in the state, if nothing was done by the national leadership to reconcile them.
According to him, Wamakko would not be able to deliver Sokoto to APC, if the confusion and acrimony in the party was left to linger on for a long period of time.
