APC Leaders In Otta To Woo Olusegun Obasanjo

The Leaders of the All Progressives Congress will be visiting former President Olusegun Obasanjo a Chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party Saturday.
The leaders of the APC having visisted the former Vice President Atiku Abubakar Wednesday, hinted that the next stop of the party visits to notable Nigerians would be Obasanjo’s residence.

The meeting seeks to at the former President’s home in Ota, Ogun State with a select leaders will urge Chief Obasanjo to leave the PDP for the newly merged progressive party.

Obasanjo who is currently in a face-off with President Goodluck Jonathan, his one time anointed candidate in the PDP will be present at the meeting alongside some governors of the APC.

The APC leaders had visited other former Heads of State such as Gen. Abdulsalami Abubakar and Gen. Ibrahim Babangida.

Apart from the Interim National Chairman of APC, Chief Bisi Akande, other leaders such as former governor of Lagos State, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari and Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu are expected to be part of the delegation to Obasanjo.
